39 year old nursery teacher collapses and dies in front of her students

A healthy mother of two collapsed while teaching her nursery students in school and later died of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Helen Hipkiss, 39, worked as a teaching assistant at Brisbane Park Infant School in Barrow, Cumbria, when she suddenly fell ill.

Despite the efforts of the medical team Furness General Hospital in the next 24 hours, it was decided to turn of her life support machine.

Helen's husband, Jason, and their two children, nine-year-old Adam and Yasmin, seven years old, have been devastated.

Brisbane Park School Director, Pat Burton, said: "She loved her job and everyone loved her.

"She had a charming personality and she was very bubbly and very good at her job. She got along with everybody and was highly respected.
"The whole school community is devastated."
