Zheng, a bridge worker was pierced through with metal bars
A worker in China had to be freed from a group of metal bars after a "malfunction of the machine."

Zheng, a bridge builder, had his entire back completely pierced through with nails in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, east China.

He was working on a new bridge in a rotary machine full of metal bars spit out the metal bars at high speed.

He incredibly survived despite the spears went right through his body and out his left shoulder.

He went to a local hospital for initial treatment, but had to be moved twice before enough qualified
doctors were able to address the nature of his injuries.

Then he had to enlist the help of firefighters to cut the length of the bars that protruded from the back of Zheng.

He was then taken to surgery to completely remove the bars and is now under close observation.
He was amazingly expected to survive.

When asked if he plans to go back to work on the bridge project he said of course. I love building bridges and I will return as soon as I can.
