A circus worker was impaled on the handlebars of his bike and bled to death after riding into a car door.
The man, who was in his thirties, slammed into a car door around 8 pm at night.

A Passersby tried desperately to stop the bleeding from his neck with her shirts, but the circus worker died later at a hospital in Queens, New York.

The man, who was a lighting technician in the Big Apple Circus, hit the driver's side door.

Jack Brocchini, 42, told the news media: "The blood poured out like a fire hydrant. I began to pray
to Our Father above for to heal him on the street."

The circus has now launched their shop in Cunningham Park, near where the man died.
No criminal charges have been filed in the incident.
