School kids love to take bathroom breaks and adult workers too. However for four school boys their bathroom break became a nightmare.

Two maintenance workers at a primary school in Long Branch New Jersey have been suspended with pay after allegedly tying up four students in a bathroom, according to reports in the news media.

The Boys, all 10 years old, were bound and gagged with caution tape by two adults in the Gregory Elementary School on Thursday, said the report. The students also were photographed while they were tied, although it is possible that the incident was part of a joke, the news media reported.

"He has expressed to us that this was a joke without malice and I hope that's accurate, but in the end, unfortunately, bad behavior leads to consequences for employees," said Long Branch, Superintendent Michael Salvatore.

There is no indication that the boys were sexually assaulted. Neither employee has been arrested. Surveillance camera captured two men entering a bathroom that was closed for renovations. Four boys entered the bathroom a little later.
