An Italian tourist was arrested at Walt Disney World for kicking his young son in the face while the child was strapped in his stroller, police said.
Darius Napolitano, 41, was with his wife and two sons in the park of the resort Saturday afternoon when witnesses said he brutally kicked his 3 year old during a family argument, according to local reports.
Witnesses said the boy screamed in pain, and security guards quickly called the police.
The child's mother was screaming "No, no, no!" during the incident, local news media reported.
The police said Napolitano admitted having beaten the boy because he was misbehaving.
"I do not kick my kids in the face for nothing," he said according to witnesses.
"Whether he was at Disney World, or was in church. If he's going to kick his child in the face, there's something wrong with him," a witness said.
Park medical personnel treated the child for the cuts around his eyes, bruising and swelling.
Napolitano, who told police he was a doctor, was accused of child abuse and was later released on bail of $2,000. It is unknow if prosecutors will bring this case to trial.
