(Scroll down for video) 2 year old piano prodigy Lavinia Ramirez, performed at her first piano concert.
Lavinia played for 200 people at an end of year school concert where she performed a perfect rendition of "Mary Had A Little Lamb".
Lavinia was among 21 students playing at the concert, But most of the students were about 10-years-old.
Neither of Lavinia's parents play instruments. Lavinia was first given a toy piano for Christmas. The family was surprised by her talent while playing the piano. So they decided to send her for piano lessons. “I don't know where Lavinia gets her brains from, she's more intelligent than me,” said her mother Jenna Ramirez.
Music teacher Matej Lehocky admitted he was reluctant to teach Lavinia, whose favorite classical track is Carmen's Suite by Georges Bizet, after hearing that she was only 2 years old.
But after her family insisted that she has talent he gave her a chance and he too was pleasantly surprised by what he heard.
“She is bright and her talent is unheard of. She had shown great maturity for a kid her age and although there were moments she would get distracted, she had something exceptional,” said Lehocky.
