(Scroll down for video) Instead of watching assault rifles on his new TV, he actually received a real assault rifle.

A musician in Washington D.C, who ordered a flat screen TV from Amazon.com was surprised to receive a semiautomatic assault rifle instead.

Thirty-eight year old, Seth Horvitz said he bought the 39-inch TV from a third party vendor. A box arrived from UPS, and seemed too small to hold the TV. He said he initially thought the box contained just the accessories.

But when he opened the box, he found a Sig Sauer military style rifle. He says he never held a gun before.

An invoice showed that the gun was intended for delivery to a firearms dealer in Duncansville, Pennsylvania, so Horvitz called police, who took the gun, and are investigating how the shipment ended up at the wrong address.

Amazon.com Inc. and United Parcel Service Inc. had no immediate comment.
