Police are not sure what started the argument but it is known that Teresa Barron, has filed for divorce. The couple has two children together. The attack happened around 10:00 a.m. just moments after the couple dropped off their daughter at Bonham Academy in Southtown in Taxes. Roberto started stabbing his wife Teresa several times in the upper body and her neck.

A brave bystander, who is a concealed handgun license holder, pulled his weapon and ordered Barron to drop the knife. Roberto surrendered.

The bystander and a school district officer held him down until police arrived. Roberto was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, and he is in jail on a $450,000 bond.

At first his bond was set at $150,000, and then the judge increased it to $300,000, and now the judge increased the bond again to $450,000. There's no word on when Barron will leave the jail.

Meanwhile his wife Teresa was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center where she is in critical condition.
