A couple having a threesome with a younger woman suddenly turned violent after the wife suspected her husband of wanting the other woman for himself, according to reports.

The husband was sneaking in another session while his wife was sleeping so she pulled a gun in a fit of jealousy, Florida police say. Mindi and David Rice, both 29, were using prescription drugs and took part in a three-way with a 24-years-old, female friend, on Wednesday at their home in Zephyrhills, according to the local newspaper.

The next morning, after the three slept, Mindi Rice said she woke up and saw her husband trying to have sex with the woman, members of the Pasco County Sheriff, said.

The sight sent her to grab a weapon. She threatened to shoot the woman, but fired a bullet into the ceiling instead, according to the local TV station.

David Rice managed to snatch the gun away and then held his wife's neck, holding the gun to her head while he threatened to kill her. He allegedly fired the weapon and the bullet hit a wall.

Meanwhile, the other woman called 911 and ran away from the home. The couple refused to leave the house when police arrived and a SWAT team was dispatched to the scene.

The couple reportedly surrendered after a couple of hours. David Rice was tasered after he tried to fight with the deputies, according to the local newspaper. Both were thrown into the Pasco County Jail on charges of aggravated assault.
