(scroll down for video) A police officer gave a 2-year-old a ticket after he used the sidewalk as his bathroom.

His mother claimed that her son could not hold it in anymore, so she had no choice.

The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, mother is outraged by the $50 fine after her 2-year-old son could not take it anymore and peed on the sidewalk.

Caroline Robboy was shopping with her parents and other children in South Street when their youngest son, who is potty training, had to use the bathroom immediately.

After being rejected in a clothing store, Nathaniel dropped his pants and urinated into a light pole on a busy sidewalk. A police officer saw what happened and wrote him a ticket for public urination.

Robboy said the officer also gave her a lecture on parenting. She plans to fight the ticket and said the situation was an accident.

Robboy says Nathaniel is a bright child who had been doing well with his training.
