(Scroll down for video) A flight was severely delayed after a fight broke out between flight attendants.

An American Eagle flight from JFK International Airport to National Airport was delayed about four hours after two flight attendants apparently had an argument.

Witnesses say it started while one flight attendant was on her phone. The other flight attendant made an announcement: "Everyone has to put their phones away, and electronics, etc., including the flight attendant," according to a passenger.

A few minutes later, one of the flight attendants, said the other refused to work with her, according to a passenger. The cabin crew was alerted and decided to get the plane's flight attendants out. The pilot turned around and returned to the gate.

The two flight attendants will meet with their supervisors to determine if they face any disciplinary action. This is the first time a flight was delayed because flight attendants fought with each other.
