(Scroll down for video) Dorothy, is a 95-year-old woman who lives the American dream.

She has a nice house on a huge private property. Her property is located in a wooded area on a hill.

As Dorothy aged, it got harder for her to leave her house and drive down her steep driveway especially in bad weather, therefore she found it very helpful to order her groceries online. Each week she places her order with SPUD.com, an online supermarket and they deliver the groceries to her house.

“We love Dorothy. At 95-years-young, she is internet savvy and has found our service to be of great help to her. Dorothy, we love having you as our customer!” CEO Peter Van Stolk said. After enjoying the service herself she agreed to be featured in the company’s commercial.

SPUD.com delivers in three urban areas, in Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. “SPUD was built on the idea that there was an easier more sustainable way to buy groceries,” Stolk said.

“Not only was there an opportunity to directly connect communities with local farmers and food producers, ordering food online and using our home delivery system, means a better, fresher product and convenience for our customers. We are saving them time while they do not have to leave the comfort of their home,” he added. Mobile video not loading? Click here to view
