A man who sexually assaulted three female flight attendants during his flight was freed after he paid a fine.

A citizen of the United Arab Emirates was fined a total of $10,000 for sexually abusing three flight attendants of Singapore Airlines.

Ahmad Abdulla Saleh Alyasi, 41, admitted to abusing women on board a flight from Dubai to Singapore. At the time of the offenses, the suspect was traveling with his wife and five children.

He touched the buttocks of the first victim as he walked beside her, carrying his child. The victim looked at him and he apologized to her. Unrepentant, Ahmad Abdulla touched the buttocks of his second victim with his hand as he walked past her while she was arranging in-flight magazines.

The second victim confronted him and he apologized again and left. Ahmad Abdulla went on to touch the buttocks of his third victim, and when the flight landed in Singapore, he got arrested.

Prosecutors proceeded in two of the three counts, and for each charge, Ahmad Abdulla was fined $5,000.
