Magician sues after being set on fire on live TV

(Scroll down for video) A TV host set a magician on fire on live TV, according to video uploaded to the internet.

The magician from the United States is receiving medical treatment and is preparing legal action after the host of a television program in the Dominican Republic set him on fire while trying to show off a stunt.

Wayne Houchin is out of the hospital but is still receiving treatment for burns on the face, scalp and hands. Houchin told news reporters that he is still in a lot of pain, but he is slowly recovering.

The California native, said Monday he has hired lawyers to prepare a complaint for the authorities in order for them to file criminal charges against the TV host.

The magician, who is 29-years-old, was taping a segment for the "Closer To The Stars" when Franklin Barazarte, a guest host, abruptly doused him with flammable liquid.
