(Scroll down for video) A UPS driver was caught on video red handed stealing a package left at the front door by FedEx, according to video uploaded to the internet.

Sitting at his computer, Al Alverson said he could not believe his eyes when he looked at surveillance video recorded from a camera that was installed above his door.

Wednesday, he and his wife Sandra Alverson expected two packages they had bought online to be delivered, but when they came home, one of the gifts supposedly delivered by Fedex was not there. They thought it was strange because the delivery company sent them a notice confirming the package had been left at their home in the morning.

"The message said it was delivered at 9:29 am," Al Alverson said. "That is when i went to review the video cameras." At 9:29 am their iPad Mini was clearly being delivered. He went looking for more video and at 1:15 pm the second holiday family gift was delivered by UPS, but two minutes later, the employee from UPS returned.

"I said, 'Oh, my God, it is the UPS guy,’” Alverson said. And he was right. Dressed in the familiar brown uniform, the video showed the driver has come back and took the FedEx package sitting by the front door with the iPad Mini inside.

The Alversons contacted UPS and felt they were getting the runaround so they uploaded the video on YouTube.

"I got a call from UPS and they were very helpful. They promised me that I would get a replacement iPad today," Alverson said. UPS also said the Sheriff's Office of Harris County arrested the driver Thursday. He was accused of theft.
