(Scroll down for video) A woman accused a Colorado prison guard of raping her minutes after giving birth in a hospital, according to press reports in Colorado.

The inmate accused the guard of raping her right after she gave birth while her newborn baby was still in her bed.

The 34-year-old had been in and out of jail and gave birth at Sky Ridge Medical Center.

The prison guard, Michael Arnold, under the supervision of the Arapahoe County Sheriff, was assigned to guard the woman. According to court documents, only 15 minutes after the woman gave birth to her child and while the child was still in her hospital bed, Arnold violated her.

When questioned, Arnold initially confessed but later changed his story and called it consensual intercourse.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff declined to comment on the case, except to say they were aware of the investigation. The sheriff's office frequently uses private security to save taxpayers some money.

Arnold was employed by C&D Security in Colorado Springs.
In court documents the woman said "the guard grabbed her head and forced her to perform oral sex."
“He also raped me,” the woman told police.
