(Scroll down for video) The sight of fish swimming around in a bowl in itself is incredible, but it becomes even more incredible when the fish in the bowl are just a painting.

Riusuke Fukahori, is an amazing artist. He makes 3-D paintings. Fukahori paints his masterpieces layer by layer, making the fish look alive.

“I love painting fish, and I have been painting fish ever since I was very young. As I grew older I tried different techniques to improve my creations. I first began to draw goldfish about 10 years ago. I then discovered the resin technique. All my creations are made using resin. No real fish have ever been used in my artwork,” Fukahori said.

Claude Monet, the famous French impressionist and his series of works called “Water Lillies”, has been Fukahori’s inspiration for working on his painting technique.

The largest creation that Fukahori’s has ever made measures 16 feet by 6.5 feet. His real looking fish creations sell for up to $4,000.
