The baby just did what he saw the adults doing at home and consumed cocaine.

Georgia Police are hunting for a grandmother, 34-years-old, and her boyfriend, after the woman's 17-month-old grandson was found to have ingested cocaine at her home.

The child’s mother, who is 17-years-old, brought the child to Piedmont Newnan Hospital at 5:00 pm on Saturday, and hospital staff called police after discovering that he cocaine.

The police said the boy swallowed the drugs in the house where his grandmother, Ebony Daniel, lives with her boyfriend, Charlie Martin, 22.

A search of the house in Palmetto turned up "evidence", but police gave no further details.

On Monday, police issued a warrant charging the couple with possession of cocaine, cruelty to children and reckless conduct.
The child was treated at Children's Health of Atlanta in Egleston and was released.

Investigators were awaiting the results of toxicology tests to calculate the amount of cocaine the child consumed.

The child's mother is being treated as a witness and was not charged with any criminal conduct.
