The bird spoiled all his fun for the day.
A child is recovering after being hit in the face by a bird while on a roller-coaster at an amusement park in New Jersey.
The collision occurred on the ‘Kingda Ka’ roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson as it returned to the station on Thursday.
The boy was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries to the face and neck. His name was not released.
The 456-foot high ‘Kingda Ka’ roller coaster, which reaches speeds up to 128 miles per hour, was closed for about half an hour.
This is not the first time someone has been hit by a bird on a roller-coaster. Italian supermodel Fabio was bloodied in the face by a goose in the chariot of Apollo ride at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, in 1999.
The scene of this infamous incident was photographed by a freak accident during a stunt for the theme park.
