(Scroll down for video) Silvia Wald is a designer, who decided to combine her passion for creating things out of fabric with her compassion for animals.

She has a degree in engineering for clothing technology and she is a vegetarian. She turned her creativity and passion into a business.

The 32-year-old opened a “butcher Shop” in Berlin, Germany. She named it "Aufschnitt”, the German word for “cold cuts”. She makes all kinds of “meats” herself, by hand.

Every piece of meat is made with fabric. People buy them to use as pillows, cushions, cool decorations to hang in their homes, as gag gifts and for pillows used for public fights.

She started the business out of her home in 2009. She began her business making different sausages. After a while, her “meat” creations became very popular so she decided to open her own “butcher shop” where she is making all kinds of “meats”, from materials like cotton, stretch velvet, lycra, wool and micro fiber.

“My most popular “meat” is the large ham,” Silvia Wald said.
