A western Pennsylvania woman, who had her checkbook stolen, also had her pocketbook swiped on her way to the police station to report the first crime, police said.

Harriet Sweger, 72, said she was robbed the first time by a woman, who slammed her to the ground and grabbed her checkbook in a grocery store.

The McKees Rocks woman said that when she was on her way to a police station, she stopped to ask for directions when a man got into her car and took her purse.

Police said that they now have arrested a suspect related to the purse theft, but did not disclose the criminal's identity.
