A man was upset after a baby ate his cocaine, but a short time later, he got even more upset because he was arrested by police.

The mother of a 13-month-old baby, the grandmother and the grandmother's boyfriend, were arrested after the child ate crack cocaine at their home, officials in Atlanta, Georgia, said.

The incident occurred on Saturday, when the child, Jay'von Daniel, was being watched by his grandmother, Ebony Daniel, 34, and her boyfriend, Charlie Martin, 22, at the home of Martin.

The boy's mother, Andrica Daniel told police she asked the couple to watch Jay'von while showering. Daniel said she knew something was wrong when she came out of the shower because Marin was very upset.

"He entered the room and came right back. He was like, 'Man shorty, what happened to my crack?' He was cursing me as if I stole it," Andrica Daniel told police.

Daniel said she did not see her son eating crack cocaine, but was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

"His blood pressure kept going up and down. He was throwing up," said Daniel. "Tests were conducted by taking his urine. He tested positive for crack cocaine. This is how we know that he ate it," she said.

Ebony, Martin, and Daniel, were arrested on Tuesday, and charged with possession of cocaine, child cruelty and reckless endangerment. Andrica Daniel was arrested on Wednesday, on the same charges.

The boy, who was released from the hospital on Monday, was put under the care of the Division of Family and Children Services.
