Busy airport |
Several months after a little boy took a flight to Rome by himself, another little boy nearly ended up in Bahrain.
A 10-year-old Egyptian boy, managed to slip passed security checkpoints at the Cairo International Airport, and board a flight to Bahrain, before being caught, airport sources said last week.
A Gulf Air flight attendant caught the child before the plane took off. The flight was bound for Manama, the sources added.
The boy, who lives in a neighborhood near the airport, was handed over to the police. He explained that he wanted to take a "closer look at the planes."
His father was summoned and reprimanded by the police. It was unclear whether there would be any legal consequences for the child's actions.
