(Scroll down for video) A man decided it would be safe to grow marijuana on the church's property, but he eventually got caught, according to police reports.

Police said that a western Pennsylvania man has been arrested for allegedly growing the marijuana on the property of the church.

State Police arrested 28-year-old Jason Como of Grove City, last week, after the Beloved Disciples Church reported that two plants they suspect as marijuana were growing on their property. Grove City is located about 60 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Authorities found a small path leading from the plant to the backyard of a nearby house. Police contacted Como and said that he confessed to planting the marijuana plants.

He was arrested and charged for managing the production and cultivation of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court documents in this case.
