(Scroll down for video) An International Goldfish beauty pageant was held in China, this weekend. Goldfish breeding is a big business in China. Now, the fish owners get to show off their fish and enter their fish to win the "World Goldfish Queen" crown title.

More than 3,000 fish from 14 countries have competed in the International Goldfish Championship in Fuzhou, in China’s Fujian Province. Breeders competed for a range of different titles, but they all hoped their goldfish wins the crown title of "World Goldfish Queen."

In a huge warehouse, the fish were lined up on rows of tables in giant bowls as they were judged.

“We judge goldfish mainly by five criteria: color, breed, body shape, swimming gesture, and overall impression,” a member of the judge panel, Ye Qichang, said.

Qichang was particularly impressed with a giant 3 pound 5 ounce fish that was competing in the competition.
“I raised gold fish for about 40 or 50 years, and this is the first time I've seen a goldfish so large," Qichang said.

“I started running my goldfish breeding business in 1984. I have spent nearly 28 years doing it, and I love it," a local fish farm owner, Wang Aimin, said.

The winner has not yet been announced.
