A veteran female police chief is in hot water after posting adult rated photos of herself online, according to reports.

The police sergeant from Houston, Texas, and a 20-year veteran of the force, has been suspended for posting racy photos of herself on a popular modeling website.

The photos, some of them naked, could cost Stacey Suro her job.

Suro, 42, has published more than 100 pictures on a website, which serves as a forum for both amateur and professional models, and photographers. In some of the photos, Suro poses dressed in bondage or sexually suggestive positions.

Suro, a single mother, also clearly stated that she was available for rent.

Her profile has now been deleted.

After word of the photos came out last week, Suro was relieved of duty while internal affairs is investigating the incident.

The Houston Police Department has declined to comment.

Department policies require that "employees should exhibit professional behavior at all times and not engage in any activity, including illegal activities that degrade or disrespect the employee or the department.

Officers also are required to disclose other work outside of their police work. It was unclear whether the department knew that Suro was a paid model.

Houston Police Officers Union said that she is member of the union, but said she had not come to their office for legal representation.
