(Scroll down for video) A man who won the lottery jackpot, will not be able to enjoy his money after he was sentenced to many years in prison for murder.

Freddie Young broke down to mourn moments before being sentenced to between 20 and 35 years in prison for the murder of his daughter’s landlord, 45-year-old Greg McNicol.

Young, who won a prize from the lottery of $46 million, killed the landlord after his daughter fought with him for not paying several months' rent.

McNicol’s wife was in court, with pictures of her husband Greg in hand, and read a letter from the family to Freddie Young saying that "Detroit is a better place now that he is out of society."

"It is hard to believe that a rich millionaire will kill another person in a dispute over a several hundred dollars," a witness said.
