At least two high school students from Indiana, were suspended after they accidentally saw topless photos of their teacher on a classroom iPad.

Joshua Troutt, 13, said the naughty picture came on when he and his friends were playing a game on the device, which the school issued. The iPad is synchronized with the iPhone of their female teacher.

"It's not our fault that the pictures were there," Troutt, a student at Highland Middle School in Anderson, Indiana, said. "We could not do anything about it."

Troutt was one of the suspended students. He said that another student was also suspended, one received a warning and a fourth was expelled.

The teacher's name was not released.

The school district said that the incident was an accident, but is taking action against the teacher.

Students involved were punished because they violated the school's technology policy, Assistant Superintendent Beth Clark said.

Troutt’s mother is furious that her son was punished and thinks the teacher should have lost her job.

"In all reality, you would think she would be fired," Nicole Troutt said. "That's nude photos the school students saw. My son did not even touch the iPad. Another guy took the picture of the iPad. He never touched it, period."

Troutt said she might pull her child out of the school if the district does not cancel his punishment.
