Army captain charged for taking photos of naked female soldiers

An army captain was charged with indecent acts after taking photos of women who were changing their clothes, according to officials.

Captain Ephraim Ben-Arzi was accused at the Magistrate's Court of committing several indecent acts and intentional invasion of privacy using hidden cameras, one inside a pen.

According to reports, the official was accused of committing the crimes during his military service.

On one occasion, he offered a female soldier, who had to change her clothes, to use a conference room next to his office. Ben-Arzi planted a hidden camera in the room, and used it to take pictures of the woman. She realized that there was a camera and left the room.

Ben-Arzi is also suspected of placing a hidden camera in his room and using it to record a sexual encounter with a woman he met on a dating website.

The indictment lists numerous similar offenses. He is also accused of hiding cameras in clothing store changing rooms and recording women trying on clothes.
