|Plane lands on SUV|
(Scroll down for video) A plane landed on an SUV at a Texas airport, according to video uploaded to the Internet.
A small plane flew onto the SUV at an airport on the outskirts of Dallas, on Saturday, injuring the driver of the vehicle traveling on a road on private property near the airport.
Video showed how the two-seater plane came down near the runway in preparation for landing, when a black SUV suddenly came into view. The car moved perpendicular to the trajectory of the aircraft.
The wheels of the plane hit the roof of the SUV, causing a wheel to fly off the plane and the SUV appeared to be flipping over.
The plane landed on its belly and then went off the road until it came to a complete stop on a patch of grass. The pilot's wife captured video of the scene while she was watching her husband practice to get his pilot's license.
The pilot, William Davis, said he will stop flying after his close encounter. After the plane landed, the airport manager ran to the car to ask if anyone was injured.
The driver looked exasperated as she said that she did not see the plane. She was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Stop signs are painted on the pavement on the private road near the airport.
