United Airlines reports emergency after man prayed during flight

An airline crew got very concerned after they observed a person praying mid flight, according to reports.

A United Airlines flight from Denver, Colorado, landed safely in Washington, D.C., after the crew reported an emergency because a passenger started praying in the aisle.

The plane was escorted by military aircraft after the crew declared the emergency. The plane landed Thursday, at Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C.

United Airlines spokeswoman Megan McCarthy said that a passenger was not following the instructions of the flight attendants required for landing, so they called the emergency.
