(Scroll down for video) A school bus worker for special needs students choked an autistic boy because he wet his pants, according to police reports.

The incident happened after an autistic boy, 13, wet his pants while riding on a school bus in Broward County, Florida. The bus attendant, whose job is to help students with special needs, was captured on video choking the boy.

The incident, which lasted about 45 minutes, was captured by the school bus surveillance camera. Deputies from the Broward Sheriff's Office this week arrested bus worker Darryl Blue, 48, on a charge of aggravated child abuse. The bus driver, who quietly kept going, even when the child cried out in pain, had not been charged.

Neither Blue nor the bus driver has been fired by the school district, although both have been reassigned to "a position away from the students," school district spokeswoman Marsy Smith, said. The district is conducting an internal investigation before taking further action.

Blue has worked for the district on and off since 2000, while the driver is a recent hire still in the test phase.

The police report on the arrest of Blue describes some of the audio that can be heard on the video. Blue apparently became infuriated when the child wet himself and reached out to touch him.

As Blue starts choking the child with a leash attached to his safety harness, the child was screaming
for much of the video while stating: “My neck”, “It hurts”, and “You're hurting me”, the report states.

Protests from the children did little to calm the anger of Blue as the bus worker is heard saying: "You will not be this color when you come home. You will be raspberry.”
Upon hearing that comment, Chelsi Edwards, the bus driver laughed heartily.

Only after the asphyxia continued for several more minutes the bus driver began to express concern.
"You're choking him," she told Blue.
