(Scroll down for video) A British couple with their kids moved into a house in a cemetery, according to reports.
Jayne Stead and Mike Blatchford, both admit that trick-or-treaters stay away from the mortuary chapel at the center of the cemetery where they live with their three teenage children.
"No one has ventured this far to trick-or-treat", Stead, of Southampton, a city located in Hampshire, in southern England, said.
Unsuspecting visitors were surprised by the presence of the family in the cemetery.
"I see people looking into the windows of the chapel and when they see us watching TV, they jump a million miles," Stead said.
Stead and Blatchford bought the house from a morgue janitor and former cemetery keeper that was built in the 1800s, six years ago, and they fell in love with it.
Blatchford, a builder, modernized the interior, but the exterior photos show the structure does not
seem to have changed much since it was built.
Despite its appearance, the gray stone building faces several tombstones. Stead said his family is not scared.
He added that his house has a good feeling, but acknowledged that weird things have happened.
"I've been sitting alone in the living room and I felt as if someone was behind me a few times," he said.
"I've also found the dog barking at nothing in a corner of the room, but I am not scared."
