A pervert who exposed himself to a woman, ran for his life after the woman pulled her gun on him, according to police reports.

A Longview woman walking near Lake Sacajawea in Washington, with her 6-year-old son, pulled her gun on the man who exposed his genitals to her on Wednesday night, police said.

The 35 year old was near Pier Martin around 8:10 in the evening when the man approached her aggressively, sat down and began to perform a sexual act. He then suggested that she should watch, according to the woman and police.

"I put the magazine in my gun and cocked it," she said in an interview Thursday night. "I said, 'You have to stop or I'll shoot you. I'm Gonna blow your brains out.’"
"Oh, ****!" Said the man, before running off.

The woman, whose name is being withheld because she is the victim of a sex crime, said she has never brought her gun, a .380 Ruger, to the lake with her, but she grabbed it on her way out the door on Wednesday, because it was cloudy and dark.

"I just had a bad feeling," she said.

It was one of at least two similar incidents that occurred within six hours in Longview. A man exposed himself to a woman in the parking lot of Winco Foods at the Triangle Center in Longview, at 2:09 a.m. Thursday, then left in a blue Honda, on Ocean Beach Road, in the 15th Avenue, according to another police report.

Longview police detective Kyle Sahim said police still cannot be sure whether the incidents are related.

The woman who met the man at Lake Sacajawea, said she saw a man fumbling with his belt as he approached her and her son Martin.

"Miss, miss," he said, according to the woman. "Can you see this? Your have to see this.” As the man fled, she said she sent her dog, a Norwegian Buhund after him.

After some time, the dog cornered the man at the door of the Lions Island near Kessler Boulevard. She called her dog back, and the man disappeared into the darkness.

When asked how her child reacted to all this, she said: "I had him turn around and look at me. I was quiet. I did not raise my voice. I do not think he knew what was happening."

The police are investigating several suspects, said Sahin. The woman called police later in the night, saying she was looking at an online database of local sex offenders and thought she recognized the man who she found at the lake.

The man involved in the incident of Lake Sacajawea was described as a white male in his 20s with short dark blond hair, and wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

The man who exposed himself at the WinCo parking lot was described as a white man with blond hair and wearing a gray sweatshirt.
