A clown suddenly died while inflating balloons for kids during a parade, according to press reports.

The clown fatally collapsed in front of spectators in New York City.

Sixty-seven-year-old Robert Blasetti suffered cardiac arrest while making balloon animals at Sixth Avenue and West 39th Street in Manhattan, on Thursday. He was pronounced dead at a hospital upon arrival.

A spokesperson for the parade said that everyone was saddened by the report that a participant of the parade
had suffered a medical emergency.

In addition, a civilian New York City Police Department worker also became fatally ill during the parade.
He suffered an apparent heart attack while connecting a vehicle to be towed out of the parade route on West 57th Street and Sixth Avenue in Manhattan.

He was also pronounced dead at a hospital upon arrival. The weather during the parade was extremely pleasant. In recent years, high winds caused the famous parade floats to wobble around injuring several people at the parade.
