A man was arrested after stealing a few quarters from a church, according to police reports.

The Pennsylvania man allegedly could stand trial for coming into the church and stealing $1.50 in coins.

Jason Stover, 31, waived a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, on charges of having forced his way into the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in State College.

Once inside, Stover moved items in the church and rummaged drawers, ultimately taking $1.50 in quarters of a currency bottle that was being collected by the church to donate to charity, according to a criminal complaint.

Stover was indicted on charges of theft and burglary. Stover was also charged with misdemeanor theft, institutional vandalism, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
