A U.S. judge has banned a man from having another child, according to court proceedings.

Corey Curtis, a Wisconsin man, who fathered nine children with six different women, was sentenced yesterday to stop procreating until he can support his numerous offspring.

Curtis was sentenced yesterday on charges of jumping bail and failure to pay child support. Circuit Court Judge Tim Boyle told the 44-year-old Curtis, that his procreating will be banned as a condition of his probation period of three years.

Curtis owes a total $90,000 in back child support with interest to the mothers of his children. Curtis will have to eliminate that debt before he can have another child, Judge Boyle ruled.

Court records show Curtis has been arrested and charged with failure to pay child support on numerous occasions in the past 11 years. His rap sheet includes convictions for passing bad checks, vandalism and theft.
