Teen arrested for attacking another with an apple

A teen has found a creative makeshift weapon with which to attack another student, according to police reports.

The 17-year-old student was arrested for throwing an apple onto the head of another teen student and then beating him inside the cafeteria of John Dewey High School, located at Avenue X in Brooklyn, New York, according to police reports.

The victim told police that he was eating inside the school cafeteria located between West 11th and West 12th streets at 11:32 a.m., when the suspect suddenly threw the fruit that landed on his head, causing
him to feel dazed.

Another student then allegedly struck the victim with an unknown object and sent him crashing to the floor, where the suspect and his cohorts continued to slap and kick the victim repeatedly, police said.

Police arrested all attackers and they were charged with assault.
