A Pennsylvania man ordering a cheeseless cheeseburger at McDonald’s, became violent after his burger had too much cheese, according to police reports.

Police filed charges Tuesday, against a Dover Township man, who allegedly had a tantrum inside a McDonald’s because it had mistakenly been prepared with cheese on it.

Springettsbury Township Police said Sean Varone, went ballistic and assaulted a worker in the parking lot of the McDonald's restaurant located at 380 Memory Lane at 11:00 a.m.

Varone, 35, of Oak Lane, is being charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. A date for his appearance and informal preliminary hearing has not been set, according to court documents.

According to police, he hit a trash can, threw a chair and left the restaurant. An employee, who went out after Varone to record his car license plate number, was attacked as she tried calling 911, police said.

Varone physically wrapped his arms around her, then grabbed her cell phone from her hand, police said. He threw the phone across the parking lot, then fled in his vehicle, police said. The employee suffered minor injuries, police said.
