(Scroll down for video) A waiter in India, was shot at and nearly killed after he refused to eat leftovers at the restaurant, according to police reports.
A man in New Delhi, was angry when his waiter refused to eat his leftovers, so he allegedly opened fire in the restaurant at the waiter.
The incident happened early Sunday, when the suspect, who was identified only by his first name of Rajesh, went to the restaurant called Jain Dhaba, with two of his friends.
The three were allegedly drunk, and at one point, Rajesh and his friends asked the waiter, who was called Monu, to eat some of his paratha, a type of flatbread popular in India.
When Monu refused to eat the leftovers, an altercation broke out and Rajesh allegedly pulled a gun
and shot the waiter, who ran for cover, according to press reports.
The waiter managed to call the police, who arrested Rajesh shortly thereafter, and charged him with attempted murder, according press reports.
The suspect's two friends fled the scene, but authorities have recovered their car, two live ammunition cartridges and a .32 caliber pistol.
Police officials said that it is only a matter of time before the other suspects will be caught and face justice.
