2 paralyzed brothers found burned to death in house (video)

(Scroll down for video) A house fire burned to death two paralyzed brothers, according to fire officials in Illinois.

A coroner confirmed that the two brothers who were paralyzed after separate car crashes, were killed when a fire consumed their home in southern Illinois.

Randolph County Coroner Randy Dudenbostel, said that 45-year-old Dennis Monroe and 42-year-old Willie Monroe, died in the fire near Sparta on Tuesday.

A third brother, his wife and young son, managed to escape the two-story house, but suffered burns and smoke inhalation. They were taken to a hospital, but there is no word on their condition on Thursday.

The cause of the fire has not been determined, but authorities suspect that is was caused by a burning device.

The Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating the fire.
