(Scroll down for video) A man was robbed of $40,000 that he had just won playing blackjack at a casino, according to court proceedings in Ohio.

Three men were arrested and charged with stealing around $40,000 from the casino winner.

Ronald Jones, Wendell Watkins, and Ryan Bundy, are accused of breaking into a house on Glen Rock Drive, and stealing money from the man who had just won big at the Hollywood Casino Columbus.

Court documents indicate that the theft occurred early in the morning.

The victim, David Hayes, said he was awakened by two suspects, Jones and Watkins, who were standing next to him with a gun at 7:00 a.m. Bundy was also allegedly present somewhere at the residence during the incident.

Hayes said that he spent five hours playing blackjack inside the Hollywood Casino Columbus. He won around $40,000 in cash.

"I was like a sore thumb from the time I started playing until the time I Cashed out and went to the car," Hayes said. "I did not know what to do with it, because it was basically the size of a brick. They gave me a folder that was stuffed like a football," he added.

Hayes said he believes Jones, Watkins and Bundy followed him home from the casino. Police said that they were able to catch one of the suspects after he was overheard boasting about the theft.

The men have been charged with aggravated robbery. A judge set bail at $250,000 for Jones on Monday. Bundy was arrested and charged last month. A warrant has been issued for Wendell Watkins.

Hayes said that although he lost thousands of dollars, he retained something that was much more valuable.
"I'm happy to have my life," Hayes said.

Hayes said that the next time he wins a big prize, he plans to ask for a check.
