A woman was arrested after she along with several others dragged her former husband behind a truck on a road, nearly killing him, according to police reports in Florida.
Authorities in central Florida said that the man was shot with a stun gun, beaten, tied to the bumper of the truck and then dragged a half a mile on a dirt road.
The victim's former wife, 61-year-old Jeannette Morris, her brother, 63-year-old Harold Anderson, and another woman, 46-year-old Joan Hobart, are charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and aggravated assault.
Volusia County deputies said that all three were drinking with the former husband of Morris, 54-year-old Robert Hall, at the home, which Morris shared with her former husband where he was shocked several times and punched.
Deputies said that they tied the rope around his ankles and the other end was attached to the rear bumper of the truck.
Hall escaped to a neighbor's house and called for help. He is being treated at a hospital in Daytona Beach.
