Man rapes woman during job interview after responding to Craigslist advertisement

A man was arrested after his scheme was uncovered.

Timothy Earl Story preyed on women, who were looking for jobs on Craigslist.

According to police, Story, who is 38 years old, created a fake Craigslist job post. He lured an unsuspecting woman to his house In Nashville, Tennessee.

During the supposed job interview he attacked the woman and raped her.

Metro Police arrested Story, after a woman reported that she was allegedly raped by Story. The woman told police that she responded to a Craigslist advertisement for a secretarial job.

The woman told police that when she reached into her bag to get her resume, Story grabbed her, overpowered her, refused to let her go and he repeatedly sexually assaulted her. She eventually escaped and she went to Skyline Medical Center.

Detectives fear there could be other victims too. Story has been charged with three counts of rape, one count of sexual assault and one count of aggravated kidnapping.

According to police, Story admitted to posting the Craigslist advertisement in order to lure women to his house.

Detectives urge other women who have had contact with Story, to call them especially if the contact started through Internet advertisement. Anyone with information should call the police department Sex Crimes Unit at 615-862-7540.

Story is being held on $425,000 bail.
