(Scroll down for video) A cleaning woman stole a train from the train station in a suburb of Saltsjobaden, Stockholm, Sweden, and drove away.

Later, she crashed the train into a house.

The cleaner, who was identified by police to be in her twenties, worked at the train station.

After crashing into the house, the cleaning woman was seriously injured. It took rescue workers almost two hours to free her.

When she was freed, she was airlifted to Karolinska University Hospital, for treatment. There were five people sleeping in the house at the time of the accident. Luckily, nobody was hurt.

"It is incredibly fortunate that nobody was injured in the house," police spokesman Ulf Lindgren said.

The chief of emergency services has ordered the house to be evacuated for safety reasons.

At 3:00 a.m., the train veered off the road and crashed into the family’s kitchen on the first floor of the three floor house, causing serious damage. There were no passengers on the train at the time of the accident.

Officials remain baffled as to why the cleaning woman stole the train. A police investigation is underway.
