(Scroll down for video) A man is dead after he was shot by a little child, police in Richmond, Virginia, said in a statement.
The 50-year-old man was rushed to a hospital with life threatening injuries after being shot by the child in his home on Sunday morning.
The shooting, which police are now calling accidental, occurred in the 2300 block of Whitcomb Street.
It's not just the police who want answers about the shooting, neighbors said they are concerned after learning that the four-year-old child had gotten hands on the gun and accidentally fired the shot.
That bullet was shot inside the family home, and caused the man to be in serious condition at VCU Medical Center. He later died.
Richmond police said the call came in at 11:20 on Sunday morning. Police have identified the man as 58-year-old Casper R. Jones.
Officers arrived to find the man with a severe wound.
Neighbors said that they were surprised to hear that the shooter was just a four-year-old child, who pulled the trigger and some said that they fear that videogames are partly to blame.
Others said that guns should be locked up and out of sight.
