(Scroll down for video) A nurse at a prestigious health clinic was arrested and charged with a plot to kill an elderly woman with whom he had a fight over a house, according to court proceedings in Ohio.
The Ohio man hatched the plot to kill the woman with whom he was in a dispute with over home ownership, authorities said.
He approached a patient in a hospital emergency room where he worked as a nurse with the question: "Have you ever killed anyone?"
"No," the Cleveland Clinic patient responded, "but I once shot a man."
That was good enough to nurse Andrew Martin, 23, who allegedly tried to resolve the conflict, offering the patient $10,000 to kill the woman, who was never hurt.
Martin of Bristolville, about 50 miles east of Cleveland, was convicted of the charges.
The Cleveland Clinic, a renowned research hospital for their national ranking, suspended Martin without pay when he was arrested in November.
