Two people were arrested and charged after a man went flying out a building window during a drunken fight, police in Connecticut said in a statement.
Two 20-year-old men are facing assault charges after another man was seriously injured in Naugatuck, when he fell from a fourth floor window.
Police said that 24-year-old Saloman Martinez from Stratford, Connecticut, fell out the multifamily house window and onto the sidewalk early Wednesday, during a scuffle triggered by a dispute over a drinking game. He was said to be in critical condition at Waterbury Hospital.
Police officers charged Kyle Chandler and Matthew Gonzalez, both of Naugatuck, with first-degree assault along with other offenses.
Police said that it is unclear whether Martinez fell accidentally or was deliberately pushed outside.
Gonzalez and Chandler were both jailed at a local facility pending a bail hearing. A police report said that Gonzalez denied any involvement in the fall of Martinez.
