(Scroll down for video) A man was seen begging passing motorists for a kidney, according to a video uploaded to the Internet.

The usual site of the homeless begging for money on the roads coming off highways were replaced by one 28-year-old man in need of a new kidney.

The man was identified as Earl Martinez. He was spotted standing on the side of a road with signs begging for a new kidney. Martinez had been suffering from a rare disease, which caused his kidneys to stop functioning properly.

Meanwhile, Martinez is receiving dialysis several times a week, while he is waiting for a kidney transplant. Martinez can usually be seen around on the roads of Beaverton, Oregon.

One sign he held up reads: “Need Kidney Donor." Martinez said that he does not need any money as the entire procedure would be covered by his insurance, so all he needs to do is find a kidney.
