A dumb thief was caught after posting pictures of her stolen goods on her Facebook page, according to a statement by the New York City Police Department.
Felecia Cooks may have photographed her own mug shot.
The 17-year-old girl was arrested on Friday, after stealing an iPod from another teenager at a bus stop in the Bronx, New York, and then providing the victim with incriminating pictures of her, police said.
The police arrested Cooks, for the robbery just one day after photos of the teen posing in front of a mirror and making a kissy face were released.
Cooks and two others teens allegedly jumped on another teen, who had the iPod and ran off. The photos ended up on the Facebook page of the victim, and she gave them to the New York police.
This is not the first time that a criminal was caught by bragging about the crime on the Internet.
Last year, a woman was arrested after she bragged on YouTube how she robbed a bank, according to video uploaded to the Internet.
